DRAFT · OCTOBER 2026

Currents helps people meet over plans they both want to do. By using it, you agree to these terms. This is a working draft for the pilot and will be reviewed before launch.

1. Who can use Currents

  • You’re 18 or older.
  • You joined with an invite from the Currents team.
  • One account per person, using your real name, age and photos.

2. Your card and notes

  • Cards describe a real plan you want to do. You can have one live card at a time.
  • We use AI to shape your card and run safety checks before it goes live. You can always see and keep your own words.
  • Notes stay about the plan. Phone numbers, handles and links belong in chat, once both of you have said yes.

3. Meeting people

You decide who you meet and where. Meet somewhere public first, tell a friend your plans, and never send money. Currents doesn’t run background checks.

Hosts can invite people they matched with on a card into a plan group of up to 10. Nobody joins a group without saying yes, and anyone can leave at any time. If a member reports someone in a group, the host sees who reported and why, and has 7 days to decide whether the reported person or the reporter leaves the group. If the host doesn’t decide in time, the reported person is removed. Reports about a host aren’t shared with the host, and the person reporting can leave the group and delete the chat. The Currents team reviews every report.

4. Not allowed

  • Harassment, hate or threats
  • Explicit or sexual content
  • Selling, spam or asking for money
  • Fake profiles or pretending to be someone else

5. Reports and removals

We review every report. We may remove cards, notes or chats, and pause or close accounts that break these terms.

6. Pausing and leaving

You can pause or delete your account at any time from Me › Account. Deleting is permanent, and coming back needs a new invite.

7. Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
